Custom club fitting

A fitting that starts with you and ends with clubs built to match.

Your swing, your body and your goals decide what goes in your bag. We measure, select and build around them, using premium KZG components.

Who it's for

Golfers at every level

We fit weekend players and competitive amateurs alike. The goal is the same for everyone: clubs that suit the way they actually swing.

Weekend players

Looking for more consistency, and clubs that feel like they belong to you.

Competitive amateurs

Chasing tighter gapping, more consistent flight and clubs you can trust under pressure.

Anyone replacing a set

If your current clubs never quite felt right, a fitting can show you why and what to change.

The fitting process

Four steps, each one measured

Every fitting follows the same sequence, so each recommendation can be traced back to a measurement or a test.

Swing analysis

We evaluate your swing speed, tempo and ball flight tendencies. This gives us a baseline for every choice that follows.

You get: a clear starting point for your fitting.

Shaft selection

We check shaft frequency with our DigiFlex 2.0 as a baseline, then recommend the right weight and profile for how you swing.

You get: a shaft chosen by measurement, not just by its label.

Head and loft fitting

We recommend a KZG head based on your preferences, needs and playing style, then set the proper loft, lie and grip size.

You get: a head and specifications matched to your game.

Build and delivery

Your clubs are carefully hand-assembled in our shop using KZG components and built to your specifications, ready to play.

You get: clubs built to spec, ready for the course.

What we check

Every number has a reason

A fitting is a set of connected decisions. Here is what we check, and why each check matters to the clubs you end up with.

What we check Why it matters
Swing speed, tempo and ball flight Sets the starting point for shaft weight and profile
Shaft frequency Shows the real stiffness of a shaft, beyond its flex label
Shaft weight and profile Balances tempo, feel and control for your swing
KZG head selection Matches head design to your preferences and playing style
Loft and lie Controls launch, direction and how the club meets the turf
Grip size Affects how freely your hands work through the swing

Fitting glossary

The terms behind your specs

Knowing what each specification does helps you ask better questions and make a confident decision.

Shaft flex
The letter on the shaft, such as R, S or X, that describes its intended stiffness. Flex isn't standardized across manufacturers, so treat it as a starting point rather than a measurement.
Shaft frequency
How fast a clamped shaft vibrates, measured in cycles per minute (cpm). It measures actual stiffness, so two shafts with the same flex label can behave differently.
Shaft weight and profile
Weight and profile shape tempo and feel. They are chosen to match how you swing, not just how fast you swing.
Loft
The angle of the clubface. More loft typically means higher launch and more spin, trading roll for carry.
Lie angle
The angle between the shaft and the ground at address. The right lie keeps the sole flat through impact.
Grip size
The thickness of the grip. It affects how freely your hands rotate through impact.

Fitting FAQ

Good questions, straight answers

Do I need to be a good golfer to get fit?

No. We fit golfers at every level, from weekend players to competitive amateurs. Clubs that suit your size and swing help every level of player.

Can you work with clubs I already own?

Often, yes. Loft and lie adjustments, reshafting and regripping are all done on clubs you already own. We'll tell you honestly when an adjustment is worth it.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Fittings are by appointment, so call or text (330) 715-2282 to arrange a time that suits you.

Are you tied to one brand?

No. We're independent. We recommend what suits your swing, whatever brand that turns out to be.

What should I bring?

If you have them, bring the clubs you play now. Notes on your typical misses, and what you want to change, also help us start in the right place.

How much does a fitting cost?

Labor prices for the work that follows a fitting, such as reshafts, grips, loft and lie and club builds, are on our Services page. Prices shown are labor only. Grips, shafts, adapters and other components are additional. To ask about your fitting, call or text (330) 715-2282.
